My wife and I just got back from seeing GHOSTRIDER. Unless you want to waste and hour and 50 minutes of your life, I would recommend watching something else. The theater was packed and I noticed an unusual amount of bikers in the audience chomping at the bit to see Ghostrider's bike. I'm guessing alot of people thought this would be more of a "comics" type movie and therefore brought their kids along. But with all the intense images, there will be many shocked and startled parents wishing they had left the kids at home.

Thanks for the movie review. I would ask that this be a regular feature of this blog. The last 3 movies we rented were complete bombs even thought they were highly regarded by the "critics". My review, Flags of our Fathers. If you think this will be similar to Private Ryan as marketed in its commercial, you are mistaken. This movie shows a little about the battle, but then flashes forward to an endless series of war bond rallies. If you want more entertainment than this movie provides, tape 10 minutes of Bloomberg TV and watch it over and over for 2 hours. It will be more entertaining and have more action. I get so tired of movie directors trying to make "art" or make a statement instead of providing entertainment. Reminds me of the old joke the movie theater went out of business because they only showed Oscar winners.

Another review. V for Vendetta. I should have known this was going to be a stupid movie. But I heard it had good fights, which it doesn't. The hero wears a silly Jay Leno with a goatee mask the entire movie (I watched it until the end only to see if he would remove the mask, but he didn't). The hero also gets shot 300, yes, 300 times. Ten guys each unload a clip into him.But his bulletproof vest saved him. How he didn't get hit with a head shot is astounding. Princess Amadala starts the movie with a thick British accent, then speaks regular ole American after about a 1/3 of the way through. Then she gets her head shaved. Why? Who knows. Must be a Brittany thing. I thought I had seen bad movies before but this ranks with the worst. So bad almost funny. But not quite.

Liza and I took Caleb to see it opening day. The movie was not suited for Caleb. He is only ten years old and he had bad time coping with some of the scenes in the movie for a few days after. The movie played up the devil (Satan) too much.
Spiderman 3 is coming out soon and we can’t wait.
